Building Bridges is for people who work closely with children
and care about how interaction begins.
It’s a good fit if you:
- work in education, care, therapy, coaching, or child support
- understand that behavior has meaning
- value relationship over control
- are open to reflecting on your own position in interaction
You don’t need experience with puppets.
You do need curiosity, attentiveness, and a willingness to step back and observe.
This is not about learning a trick.
It’s about professional growth.
Building Bridges is most often used with children aged 3 - 10.
The principles themselves are not age-bound.
What matters is not the child’s age, but whether direct contact feels too intense in that moment.
This approach can be meaningful with:
- younger children who are still developing language
- older children who withdraw or resist direct adult interaction
You learn at your own pace.
You can watch and observe first, then try things out..
Lessons remain available, so you can return to them when needed.
There’s space to let ideas land before acting on them.
You don't need to perform.
You learn to notice, reflect, and respond.
Questions will come up - and there is space for them.
Support is available when you need it,
without pressure to participate when you don’t.
You choose how visible or quiet you want to be.
Building Bridges helps you start integrating your puppet into what you already do, such as:
- everyday learning activities
- planned conversations
- games and play
- first contact, transitions, or moments of withdrawal
- situations where talking increases pressure
So you don’t need to add extra activities.
You work with what’s already on your program.
You bring yourself.
The puppet adds another way in.
If you’re looking for a way of making contact that differs from what you already do -
and that can meaningfully expand your possibilities as a professional -
Building Bridges offers a solid place to begin.
Because the English-speaking community is still growing,
the program is currently offered at a lower introductory price ($197 instead of $297).
Communities take shape through the people who step in early.
The current price applies to everyone who joins before April 1th.
